Pioneer Expeditions has researched the island thoroughly and has created an itinerary which will leave even the most experienced traveller inspired by this unspoiled and spectacular territory.  A lot of our time is spent island hopping and we enjoy the marvels of the colourful marine life and coral gardens.  Spectacular for both the snorkeler and diver, the waters around Palawan are regarded as some of the best in the world.

We explore part of what is known as the 'Last Frontier' of the Philippines, the group of 1768 islands that make up the Palawan Province.  Stretching out into the South China Sea towards the tip of Borneo, the main island consists largely of mountainous jungle.  These extraordinary islands and superb landscapes provide the perfect setting for this once in a lifetime expedition.

During our action packed time in Palawan, we will trek to waterfalls and through tropical rainforest, canoe the longest underground river in the world, visit magical islands, hidden beaches, relax at a luxurious eco resort and explore tropical islands.  There is also time for snorkelling and diving wrecks.
