A great two week safari thank you Laurenne and Teresa. All the organisation worked well, including sorting the last minute panic when our flights had to be changed. Our guide/driver William was great and very knowledgeable. Towards the end of the trip when he was unwell, the local agent very efficiently replaced him with no inconvenience to us. Of course, the animals were amazing - walking with a family of White Rhinos, close encounters with Chimpanzees, and the highlight, the Gorilla Trek! A family of 10 gorillas, relaxed and enjoying life. Reached with less effort than we feared, with the help of our lovely porters, scouts and guide. Definitely recommend the trip, even to seniors like us.

A truly fabulous 2 weeks spent travelling around Costa Rica, from coast to coast seeing the most amazing wildlife at every turn. The diversity of landscape, vegetation, climate and wildlife itself in a relatively small country was amazing.

Whole trip was really well organised, building the schedule with Pioneer was a very easy and productive process. The organisation once we there was also excellent - no hitches along the way and our guide Martin was brilliant - he knew his wildlife, was flexible with the schedule and attentive to our wishes and good company too.

We travelled in a small private group of 4 which we'd thoroughly recommend both for the flexibility en route and the ability to tailor your trip itinerary to what you want to do.

First time in Central America and we really loved it - the people were a delight and there is so much to see. Volcanoes, traditional Mayan costumes, local markets, great coffee and Mayan temple cities in Guatamala. Belize was more about jungle wildlife (toucans and hummingbirds stand out) and some beach time at the end. We went in and out via Miami so - all in all - this felt like multiple holidays rolled into one.
Thanks to Pioneer for their great advice and reliable planning. Everything went exactly as planned, the accommodation was perfect and all the guides were warm and knowledgeable. Perfect!
