We’ve pieced together a trip that covers the very best of what Borneo has to offer. We urge you to read the itinerary as there is only so much we can cover in the summary but here’s a taste of what to expect. From touring Kuching and the Bako National Park to visiting the incredible Danum Valley. The rainforest, wildlife and endemic birds of Borneo are awe inspiring and a highlight of any trip but you will also experience the culture of Sarawak and get a chance to engage with the Iban people who are believed to have migrated from deep in the jungle and origins of the Kupuas River to Sarawak where you will take a tour. You will have an opportunity to see orang-utans at a leading rehabilitation centre and a stunning trip along the wildlife corridor of the Kinabatangan River, where proboscis monkeys, wild orang-utans, gibbons and pygmy elephants can often be seen. The trip ends on the beach at beautiful Gaya Island Resort- Tucked amidst protected mangroves, sheltered coral reefs and curled around the pristine sandy coast of Malohom Bay. Snorkelling opportunities are plentiful.
