Pioneer Expeditions was founded in 2006 to offer real off the beaten track adventures

and extraordinary ‘Pioneer Firsts’ such as the North to South traverse of Liverpool Land in Greenland, and to be one of the few to trek the Kokoda trail in Papua New Guinea. As Pioneer have grown, we have developed our itineraries, still conquering the extreme adventure trips in places like Argentina and Komodo Island, but also having a special interest in wildlife; especially in Madagascar, Borneo, Costa Rica, and the Galapagos.  We have an unparalleled network of local partners who have expert knowledge of their country and love to give our clients the very best and unique experience.
