It is estimated to be more than 2,500 years old and served as a lighthouse for sailors. Today it is considered a national Cultural Heritage site. We continue on to the Ballestas Islands, an impressive convergence between the desert and the sea. These three islands are a display of extraordinary monuments carved into rocks by the sea, as well as a diversity of wildlife including endemic and migratory species. The islands are home to mammals, such as sea lions, and 18 species of birds such as the Humboldt penguin, the red-footed cormorant, the guanay, among others. Finally, we will return to the dock, leaving behind this unique dream landscape.
