Glover’s Reef in Belize is a protected marine reserve known for its clear waters and vibrant coral ecosystems, where kayakers can quietly approach diverse patch reef and see a bounty of tropical fish and birdlife without causing disturbance. In Komodo, Indonesia, dramatic islands and national park waters are rich in biodiversity, with opportunities to see marine species and, on guided land visits, Komodo dragons.

Komodo Kayaking

Unlike the other two trips this adventure is not a point to point kayaking trip but an island based adventure that allows you to kayak and explore the reef at your leisure or with a guide. Patch reefs are very important for the marine eco system as they’re often shallow and accessible to any passing marine life. They are ,in essence, underwater islands alive with brightly coloured coral where you can get out of your kayak and snorkel to your hearts content. If you’re lucky you might see a sea turtle!
